Western North Carolina, United States of America

Following the devastating impact of Hurricane Helene, Western North Carolina became our inaugural 40 Communities site. After providing immediate crisis response and relief, we're now working alongside local partners to support long-term recovery and resilience — rebuilding homes, strengthening digital infrastructure and connectivity, creating pathways for skilling and employment, and building resilience for small and medium businesses across the region.

Mumbai marks our first international 40 Communities site and a deepening of Cisco's commitment to India's digital transformation. Building on decades of collaboration with our partners, we'll leverage Cisco technology to deliver integrated solutions that build digital skills for a future-ready workforce, accelerate startups and small businesses, and address urban water and waste management challenges — driving lasting impact for communities and businesses in Mumbai and across the Maharashtra State.
